A Man belongs to an Arizona state Sentenced to Prison for launch Distributed Denial of Service Attacks (DDoS) on Emergency Communications System and Other Government Websites.
23 years old Randall Charles Tucker, who living in Apache Junction, Arizona attack various computer systems and launching heavy DDOS Attack.
A DDoS attack is a malicious attack where illegitimate network traffic is used to slow down or altogether crash a computer server, thereby denying service to legitimate users of the server.
U.S. District Judge Douglas L. Rayes of the District of Arizona ordered him to serve 20 months in prison and Pay $69,331.56 to the victims of his computer attacks.
Randall pleaded guilty on April 17, 2017, to one count of intentional damage to a protected computer.
In this case, he not only took down Municipal websites but also its emergency communication system to the point where first responders had trouble reaching the 911 center.
According to Department of Justice, between March 9 and March 14, 2015, Tucker executed a series of DDoS attacks against various city websites, including Madison, Wisconsin.
