Iranian Hacker Group Handal Claims Breach of Israeli Defense Firm

The international cybersecurity community was alerted to a major data breach involving Israeli military infrastructure.

Handala, a recognized Iranian nation-state threat actor, claims to have successfully breached PSK Wind Technologies, a key Israeli defense contractor.

The incident has resulted in the public release of highly classified military data, representing a significant compromise of sensitive operational security.

PSK Wind Technologies is not a standard corporate target. The company is directly responsible for building and delivering military command and control centers for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

By targeting a third-party vendor within the defense supply chain, the hackers bypassed direct military firewalls to access top-secret intelligence.

According to reports from the International Cyber Digest, the volume of stolen data is massive, indicating a deep and sustained intrusion into the contractor’s network.

Compromised Operational Data

The leaked files provide an unprecedented look into Israeli military operations. Handala has published photographs showing the inside of active command and control centers where the IDF plans and executes its missions.

Exposing the physical layout of these secure facilities poses immediate physical and operational security risks.

Alongside these location photos, the data dump contains a wealth of internal documents detailing the daily operations and strategic communications of the defense contractor.

Beyond facility layouts, the breach severely compromises Israeli military technology. The threat actors have released deep technical schematics, including internal engineering drawings of advanced communications hardware.

These blueprints are accompanied by actual photographs of the physical communication devices and detailed product manuals.

By releasing this documentation, the hackers have given rival intelligence agencies a comprehensive manual on how IDF communication systems are built, installed, and operated.

The scale of this leak is currently being described by researchers as huge. When a nation-state group like Handala infiltrates a defense contractor, the primary goal is often espionage and disruption.

This breach highlights the growing danger of supply chain attacks, where hostile actors target private companies to reach heavily guarded government assets.

Cybersecurity analysts are actively monitoring the situation and assessing the full extent of the leaked files to understand the long-term impact on regional security.
