The wait is almost over as Apple has confirmed the release of 3 brand new iPhones due to hit the stores on 20th September: the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. There’s always plenty of buzz and anticipation when Apple brings a new product to market and this time is no exception. Apple’s new A13 chip is claimed to be the “fastest CPU and GPU in a smartphone” operating around 20% faster than the A12 which was in the 2018 models. The chip makes the Face ID feature around 30% faster and will support several angles for unlocking. It has been designed for machine learning, including real-time photo and video analysis and the CPU can deliver one trillion operations per second. There is also a new U1 sensor – R1 or ‘Rose’ which enables the iPhone to detect its location in 3D space with more accuracy.
What’s the screen like?
The iPhone 11’s 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD Display features wide color support and True Tone while the iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch OLED Super Retina XDR Display.
