This approach guarantees that personal information, like message content or user inquiries, is not sent to Apple’s servers without necessity.
For instance, when Siri reads unread messages or provides suggestions via widgets, all the processing occurs locally, ensuring user privacy is upheld.

“The audio of user requests is processed entirely on device using the Neural Engine, unless a user chooses to share it with Apple.”
“Siri requests are not associated with users’ Apple IDs or phone numbers; rather, a unique identifier specific to the device is utilized, ensuring that personal identity remains confidential.”
Furthermore, Apple only keeps audio recordings of Siri interactions if users choose to opt-in for service improvement, giving users authority over their data.
