13-year-old School Student Hacked the Teachers Account To Steal Students Data

A 13-year-old student accused of using his teacher’s credentials to get into his district school system to steal the fellow student’s personal details and created a site with a “hit-list” of names, school ID numbers, and dates of births.

He posted the students personal information of his fellow students in a website, saying that he was going to “shoot up their houses.”

The Columbus City Preparatory School told abc22now, that has stolen about 60 students personal information and the school reported to Columbus Police about the incident.

This is not the first time, the same student was accused before for making another hit list last on December 15, 2018, and made threats to shoot up the school to multiple students.

Now, the website has been taken down and CCS said the parents of the children on the list were contacted right away.

“We take all threats seriously — whether we perceive them to be real or not – and contacted Columbus Police. We are moving forward on appropriate disciplinary measures.”

At the time of writing, there is no word about if the student will be suspended or expelled.

Last year, Students hacked into Bloomfield Hills High School by exploiting a vulnerability in the system to manipulate their personal grades, attendance and lunch balance information.
