HackerOne Announced Five Free sandboxes To Test Your Hacking Skills

HackerOne expands its free online training program partnering with HackEDU. Hacker101 is an interactive sandbox based training environment designed to test five real-world vulnerabilities.

The sandboxes are designed based on the most popularly disclosed public reports, they are free and available to hackers. These sandboxes are designed by HackEDU for hackers and penetration testers to practice real-world hacking techniques in a legal environment.

Hacker101 – Sand Boxes

Clickjacking Vulnerability

Here they replicated a clickjacking vulnerability, it let you learn about clickjacking and how this vulnerability can be exploited with a worm. You can try the sandbox for free.

XXE – Exposing Files

Hacker101 replicated the XXE vulnerability in SEMrush that detected through ackerOne’s bug bounty program. This module lets you learn on how to exploit the vulnerability to steal the files.

Remote code execution (RCE)

Remote code execution vulnerability in Imgur replicated with the sandbox, this modules allows you to learn how to exploit the vulnerability and to take control over the system.

SQL Injection Attack

These modules let you learn about SQL Injection and how to exploit this vulnerability to steal database information. You can use SQLmap tool to extract data from the WordPress database.

XSS attack

With this module, they replicated a sandbox with Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. You can learn how this vulnerability can be exploited using PostMessage between frames.
