A new Pwned Passwords Tool has been released with tons of already compromising password database to helps the user to check whether their password has been ever listed in the previous major password-based data breaches.
Pwned Passwords are half a billion real-world passwords previously exposed in data breaches with Collection of nearly 3k alleged data breaches that have been already proven legitimate incident.
Recent days data Breaches are reporting very often in wide and Attackers always finding a new way to compromise the systems for financial motivation especially many of data breaches eventually lost millions of passwords.
Last year many of critical data breaches have been reported and many of organization lost million of sensitive data’s and millions of customer passwords that have been stored even in plain text.
Last week Web security Expert Troy hunt, released Version 2 of Pwned Passwords, with password data set from 320 million passwords to 501 million new passwords, pulled from almost 3,000 breaches over the past year.
This version 2 update combination of two major data sources, The 711 million record Onliner Spambot dump, and The 1.4B clear text credentials from the “dark web”.
