Parrot Security OS 5.1 Release – What’s New!!

It has been officially announced that Parrot OS 5.1 has been released, and Parrot OS 5.1 is now available for download as well.

A lot of advancements and updates have been made to this new version to increase the efficiency and security of the distribution.

In terms of its advanced and universal features, Parrot OS is recognized as one of the best operating systems. Parrot OS is based on Debian and is designed as a multiplatform application. You can run it on any platform with a few clicks.

This OS is an Ethical Hacker and Cyber Security Professional dedicated Distro, designed specifically for penetration testing and ethical hacking.

Parrot 5.1 – What’s New?

Parrot created the latest release of the operating system to ensure it was as stable and adaptable as possible. There are a number of factors that have contributed to the success of this project.

How to Download or Update?

The Parrot OS 5.1 can be downloaded by clicking on the following link. In order to keep users safe, ParrotSec always recommends to users that third-party sources should never be trusted.

You can also use the official torrent files for these downloads if the direct downloads are not working for you. As in most cases, the firewall and network restrictions can be circumvented by doing so.

If you are already using any older version of Parrot OS then you can update to the latest version and to do so you have to follow a few commands that we have mentioned below:-

sudo parrot-upgrade

or

sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade

However, to maintain a cleaner and more reliable user experience, it is also recommended to backup and reinstall the latest version.
