Accenture, a global professional services company, has made a strategic move in the U.K. market by acquiring 6point6, a leading technology consultancy specializing in cloud, data, and cybersecurity. 

This acquisition, announced on October 31, 2023, significantly enhances Accenture’s capabilities in these crucial areas, particularly within central government, defense and security, and financial services.

Integrating 6point6’s expertise seamlessly aligns with Accenture’s existing cloud, data, and cybersecurity strengths.

This synergy will allow Accenture to offer its clients in the U.K. a more comprehensive and integrated suite of services, enabling them to leverage the full potential of these transformative technologies. 

The addition of approximately 400 skilled technologists from 6point6 further bolsters Accenture’s talent pool, providing immediate access to specialized knowledge and experience.
