The Pirate bays (TPB), a Most Popular File sharing torrent website is going to be blocked by the Sweden ISP Telenor which has continually fought against the site-blocking in Sweden.

Finally, it has voluntarily decided to block The Pirate Bays (TPB). since long time Telenor fought and denied to block the Torrent Sites.

The improvement isn’t the after effect of an immediate court arrange against the organization, rather its last union with Bredbandsbolaget, an ISP claimed by Telenor that was already requested to hinder the scandalous downpour site.

Stockholm District Court asked by copyright holders to block The Pirate Bay and another Streaming site Swefilmer also they claimed that ” the provider knowingly facilitated access to the pirate platforms and assisted their pirate bay users.”

According to a company statement, “Bredbandsbolaget’s role is to provide its subscribers with access to the Internet, thereby contributing to the free flow of information and the ability for people to reach each other and communicate,”

Also, they said, “Bredbandsbolaget does not block content or services based on individual organizations’ requests. There is no legal obligation for operators to block either The Pirate Bay(TPB) or Swefilmer.”

But the case keep went to appeal on 2017, eventually,  District Court ordered  Bredbandsbolaget to implement “technical measures” to prevent its customers accessing the ‘The Pirate Bay(TPB)’ sites through a number of domain names and URLs.

In 2014, Universal Music, Sony Music, Warner Music, Nordisk Film and the Swedish Film Industry filed a claim against Bredbandsbolaget, one of Sweden’s biggest ISPs.

The Pirate Bay Blocked

According to torrentfreak, Bredbandsbolaget has been blocked The Pirate bays(TPB) on March 2017 and they said “We are now forced to contest any future blocking demands.

“We have not discontinued Bredbandsbolaget, but we join Telenor and Bredbandsbolaget and become one. When we share the same network, The Pirate Bay is blocked by both Telenor and Bredbandsbolaget and there is nothing we plan to change in the future. /Line”

It is the only way for us and other Internet operators to ensure that private players should not have the last word regarding the content that should be accessible on the Internet,”

In November 2015, the Stockholm District Court chose that the copyright holders couldn’t drive Bredbandsbolaget to obstruct the Pirate bays, deciding that the ISP’s tasks did not add up to cooperation in the copyright encroachment offenses completed by a portion of its ‘Pirate’ endorsers.

While it’s uncertain whether any extra blocking requests have been documented with the ISP, this week a declaration by Bredbandsbolaget parent organization Telenor uncovered a surprising thump on impact.

Apparently, without a solitary shot being discharged, The Pirate Bay will currently be hindered by Telenor as well.
