Children’s Personal Data Includes Names, Phone numbers, Addresses Sold On Dark Web

Threat actors advertising stolen data containing Children’s personal information of that includes their name, address, phone number, date of birth, and Social Security Number.

According to a researcher and motherboard, the data being advertised on several places in the dark webwhich costs $10 each, or $790 for 250 fullz, or $490 for 250 depending on the market.

The listing says that includes the child’s data includes their name, address, phone number, date of birth, and Social Security Number.

Number of Listings pointed out by Emily Wilson, VP of research at cybersecurity firm Terbium Labs.

One such listing alerted that it contains data of people born between 2000 and 2010 and then the another says it contains data between 1900-2010.

“For the children impacted by this listing (with birth years between 2000-2010), most of them won’t be opening lines of credit for another five to ten years—plenty of time to do some serious financial damage,” Wilson said to Motherboard.

The dark web markets become a more popular place for threat actors to sell stolen data, hacking tools, and financial data.
