WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook & Messenger Down More than an Hour Globally – Back to Live Now!!

Social media and instant messenger giants Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, facing global outages and users all around the globe experiencing an error “Site cant’ be reachable” for more than an hour.

Not only Facebook, But WhatsApp, Messenger also not working for the global community, and messages are not getting delivered for senders.

At the time of writing this article, all 4 platforms are down and each contains more than a billion communities. Platforms are showing an error in Facebook & facing undelivered messages in both the instant messengers.

The outage issue seems to be around DNS servers. Facebook has confirmed working on a fix.

Facebook reported over Twitter from its official page that “We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible”

Facebook Offical page said “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience”

“Instagram and friends are having a little bit of a hard time right now, and you may be having issues using them. Bear with us, we’re on it!

Meanwhile, Twitter was flooded with several memes on Facebook and its owned social media platforms’ outage. have a look: 

Meanwhile, the social-media giant’s instant messaging platform WhatsApp was also down for over 15,000 users, while Messenger was down for nearly 3,000 users.

When navigating to these websites, a server error will appear — Instagram shows a “5xx server error,” which indicates that this is an issue with Facebook’s servers.

First reports of problems with the social media sites came at 16:44 BST (11:44 ET), Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger all reported issues, Soon after the first report, the hashtag #facebookdown was trending on Twitter.
